I UNDERSTAND THAT THE STATED CAPACITY OF THE VESSEL BOOKED IS DICTATED BY LAW AND CANNOT BE CHANGED BY ANYONE. Infants and children count toward the total persons aboard the rented vessel regardless of weight and age.

Cancellation Policy: For a full refund, 48 hours notice must be given by phone or email. If there is inclement weather on the day of rental, we will issue a full refund, however once the rental has started no refund will be issued. With every booking there is a non-refundable booking fee.

I fully release and discharge Copake Lake Boat & Ski corp. and its employees from any and all liability for injury, death, or damage to person or property that may occur during the rental period. This includes any accidents, injuries, or damages sustained by myself, my passengers, or others, whether caused by negligence or otherwise. 

Drugs and/or alcohol are prohibited: Zero tolerance for boat drivers.

 $500 deposit required (will be authorized at time of rental on a valid credit card and refunded if rental is returned with no damages. Note: If a Debit card is used, this amount will be withdrawn and held, voided transaction times are dependent on your bank and may take up to 5 days)

 Renter is held financially responsible for any and all damage to the boat and for any damage they may cause in the course of the rental.  Damage includes property and physical (person).

Deposit will be forfeit if during the rental period alcohol and/or drugs are found on the boat, if the driver appears intoxicated or if it witnessed that the boat is being operated in a reckless manner, as determined by Copake Lake Boat & Ski Corp. staff.

All New York State boating rules/regulations/laws are to be adhered to.

No tubes or any other water-sports equipment shall be towed by a Copake Lake Boat & Ski Corp. rental boat.

Anyone operating a Copake Lake Boat & Ski Corp. boat must be 21 with a valid driver’s license.

At the dock, a Copake Lake Boat & Ski Corp. employee will give instruction on the safety equipment in the boat, and how to operate the vessel. Only customers who attend this briefing will be allowed to operate (drive) the boat.
